There are two cities coexisting in the beginning of the 20th century’ Barcelona: a modernist and bourgeois one, and a dark dusty one. As little Teresa, the daughter of a wealthy family, disappears, a suspicion arises both within the press and the police. Enriqueta Martí, or “The vampire of the Raval”, as she is better known, becomes the main suspect. Journalist Sebastià Comes will then enter the narrow street’s labyrinth of the Raval quarter, full of secrets, and prostitutes, to try to solve the mystery of children kidnapping and murdering that “The Vampire” is being accused of.
